Woroba, Séguéla
About
Located in the northwest of the country, the Woroba district has the town of Séguéla as its capital. It is divided between the regions of Bafing, Béré and Worodougou.
The region is crossed by rivers and abounds in mountains, plateaus, valleys and plains. The vegetation is composed of a transitional zone straddling the forest and the savannah. It is bathed by the Sassandra River and the Bahoroni (a tributary of the Marahoué).
The Mandé ethnic group from the north is strongly represented.
The Woroba district is full of specific tourist assets provided by the diversity of cultural traditions and nature. We have a few sites to visit such as the secular mosque of Siana, the river of the sacred silures of Silakro, the mythical caves of Toutié, the villages of weavers and cotton spinners.
